Bleu d'Auvergne has a strong and pungent taste, but to a lesser extent than other blue cheeses; it is less salted, with a creamier and more buttery taste and a moister texture. 

Gorgonzola Piccante DOP is a sharp, intensely flavored Italian blue cheese made from cow's milk in the Piedmont and Lombardy regions. Aged for at least 80 days to over 3 months, it features a firm, crumbly, and pale yellow texture with dense blue-green veining. It has a robust, spicy taste, making it ideal for salads, pasta sauces, and pairing with sweet dessert wines or honey.
